Red Hot Chilli Peppers to jam after two years
August 1st, 2009 - 2:49 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Aug 1 (IANS) After being apart for two years, members of American alternative rock band Red Hot Chilli Peppers are set to reunite in October.
Drummer Chad Smith insists he and his bandmates plan to “jam” together soon, ending reports of a split, reports contactmusic.com.
“Everybody was like, you know, I really like having this time off, not being a Chili Pepper and doing other things… It’ll be two years in September, so now we’re ready. You can’t force people to play when they don’t want to play or aren’t ready to play or whatever — not in our band, anyway,” Smith has been quoted as saying.
