Rebels kill 21 in Congo
November 17th, 2010 - 8:24 pm ICT by IANSKinshasa, Nov 17 (IANS) Rwandan Hutu rebels have shot dead 21 people in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Xinhua reported Wednesday.
The ambush took place Tuesday in the Walikale area of the North Kivu province where mass rapes were reported in the recent months.
The rebels of the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR), linked to the 1994 massacre in Rwanda, attacked a truckload of passengers, killing all of them, the UN-run Radio Okapi said.
