Radio Producer Royal Marshall Passes Away At 43

royal1Jan 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Saturday witnessed the demise of one of the most popular and renowned radio personality, Raymond Royal Marshall. This 43-year-old was the producer of ‘The Neal Boortz Show’ for more than 15 years, which was listened by more than 4.5 million people on 230 stations all over the nation.

The actual cause of his death is still unknown but sources say, on Saturday, Royal Marshall told his wife that he was not feeling well and he went inside his bathroom, where he collapsed. Later on he was taken to the Grady Memorial Hospital, where he left his last breathe. Many of his loyal listeners all over the nation expressed their condolences, and gratitude on the Flagship radio station website as the news of his death broke out. One of them said that Royal Marshall was a true gentleman and he knew how to stand on his ground without being obnoxious. Yet another listener said that the great radio personality, used to make him smile every morning with his show and he is still grateful to him for that. A fan of his, who was identified as Stephanie, said that although she has never seen the man, she used to look forward to listen to him on radio every day, and she cried with a sense of loss as she came to know about his demise. Lennox Bethel, yet another loyal listeners of his show, said that Royal Marshall taught him two important philosophies of life, to enjoy it and to respect others.

Raymond Royal Marshall is survived by his wife Annette, and two daughters, Ava, 2 and Amira, 4. His friends say that he was a very devoted family man and a great human being. He was also a very charitable person as he used to work as a deacon in his church and was a chairman of an Atlanta based NGO, ‘Forever Family’, that helped the poor and disadvantaged children.
