Queen Elizabeth to visit UAE
July 7th, 2010 - 6:47 pm ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, July 7 (IANS/WAM) Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, will pay a state visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The visit will be in response to an invitation from UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, a statement from the British embassy in Abu Dhabi said.
This will be the second visit by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh to the region. They first visited the UAE in 1979.
