Quake strikes off Turkey
June 11th, 2012 - 1:04 am ICT by IANSIstanbul, June 10 (IANS) An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale struck off the coast of Turkey Sunday, but there was no immediate report of damage or casualty.
The quake occurred around 3.30 p.m. off the holiday resort of Oludeniz near Mugla province, Xinhua quoted the Kandilli observatory here as saying.
Last year, some 650 people were killed in two earthquakes in Van province in eastern Turkey.
