Quake jolts China
July 25th, 2011 - 4:52 am ICT by IANSBeijing, July 25 (IANS) An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted northwest China early Monday, Xinhua reported.
The quake hit Qinghe county of China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at 3.05 a.m., said the China Earthquake Networks Centre.
Its epicentre was monitored at 46.0 degrees north latitude and 90.4 degrees east longitude with a depth of about 10 km.
