Purse Used At Panama School Board Shooting Auctioned On eBay

ph2010122302170Dec 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The purse used by a woman to hit a gunman in a school board meeting in Florida was put on sale by eBay. It was sold finally for a whopping $13,100 and the money will be given to charities as reports have suggested. Ginger Littleton the lady who owned the purse used it to throw the guns off the hands of the gunman Clay Duke. The gutsy lady and the other board members were taken hostage by the 65 year old man. The incident at the Bay District School Board meeting in Florida’s panama city took place on Dec 14th. The proceedings will go to Salvage Santa project of Mike Jones. The latter is the security guard who had shot the gunman and he runs the charity.

The purse was bought by a man from Virginia who did not reveal his identity. The same bid was offered by the brand Brahmin which makes the purse. Hence the charity will get $26,200 in total. The man who held other board members as hostage did so to protest the ouster of his wife by the district. Ginger Littleton made a brave attempt to disarm the enraged man and was able to save herself miraculously after which the security guard shot him in leg. After falling to the ground Clay Duke killed himself. Before being shot by the guard he fired at the board members. However, no one was killed.

The lady who made the a daring attempt with the purse bought it for $345. The bag belongs to the company’s Almond collection which has been discontinued.
