Pub to be opened inside Rhode Island funeral home
September 28th, 2010 - 6:36 pm ICT by ANIBoston, Sept 28 (ANI): A Rhode Island funeral home has been granted a liquor license by city officials in Providence to open a bar on its premises.
The owners of Monahan Funeral Home plan on turning the attached garage into an Irish bar and grille named “McBride’s”, MyFoxBoston.com reported.
Some area businesses are not thrilled with the idea but the owners have agreed to close earlier than most area bars.
Mark Russell, the operator of Monahan Funeral Home, hopes to be open by St. Patrick’s Day. (ANI)
