Prince William London, Apr 2 (ANI): Prince William’s military colleagues will line the route when he leaves Westminster Abbey after tying the knot with Kate Middleton.

Two groups of 12 comrades who have served alongside the prince, as well as others who have made outstanding contributions to their service, will carry out the honour as the couple make their way to a horse-drawn coach, reports the Scotsman.

Three aircrafts from the Battle of Britain memorial flight will also take part in a flypast over Buckingham Palace. The Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane will be followed by two Typhoons and two Tornados.

General Sir David Richards, head of the armed forces, said: “It is a huge honour for those servicemen and women taking part and one they and their families will remember with great pride.

He added: “For those in the path-lining it will be a particular and poignant honour as many will have served alongside Prince William.” (ANI)
