Prince William & Kate Middleton make their first public appearance after engagement

London, Dec 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) British Royal, Prince William and his fiancé, Kate Middleton has appeared at a public event together for the first time since they announced their engagement.
The couple attended the Teenage Cancer Trust in Norfolk, UK. People.com reported that Middleton was by the side of the Prince throughout the period. According to the program of the organization for the night, William was the guest of honor for the night.
She was dressed in a black and white dress with a black jacket over it. One thing though that the press did not miss was the engagement ring that William gave to her when they announced their engagement. Middleton never lost the opportunity to wave to the audience and acknowledge all the cheers that happened.
There are reports that the Royal family is seriously coaching Middleton on how to handle her new found fame. The reports indicate that the Royal family has taken a cue from what happened to Princess Diana and are determined to avoid a repeat of that.
Sources at the Royal family said that Middleton was shown several minutes of videos that featured Princess Diana and the way she handled the press.
