Dec 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Saturday, the world witnessed the first public appearance of British royal couple after they announced their engagement. Yes, Prince William and Kate Middleton, after announcing their engagement, appeared together for the first time in public at a charity function at Thursford Christmas Spectacular, Norfolk.

According to sources, the couple looked happy which was evident as there was always a smile on their faces. They had graced the event to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The money raised would be sent for the cancer unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. The couple was undoubtedly the center of attention, especially Kate Middleton who looked extremely elegant despite keeping her looks simple. This even raised questions that the would-be-royal lady may very soon over shadow the Prince. The lady restricted herself to a simple black and white dress which was paired with a black jacket. She looked absolutely stunning in the outfit. Her dress was well matched with a pair of stilettos teamed with a black clutch. The engagement ring on her finger was not to be missed out. Whereas, Prince William had come dressed in his usual navy suit.

The Prince was in a jovial mood and he was seen telling kids who were dressed as elves that they looked cool in that attire. The couple were merrily chatting and laughing. In between, the couple even took some time out to meet young cancer patients. Kate Middleton told people out there that she would be taking lessons from her would-be husband on royalty as she firmly believes that Prince William is a great teacher.
