London, Mar 21 (ANI): Prince William was proposed to during his recent visit to Victoria, Australia.
Wills, 28, was meeting a number of well-wishers outside the Memorial Hall in Kerang, a town of 3,800 that was cut off from the outside world by floodwaters for seven days.
And he passed, Tiana O’Brien, 17, and her schoolmate Ayla Fenton, 17, who had made a sign for the event.
“I’ll be your princess,” the Telegraph quoted the sign as reading.
When he got close enough to hear him, O’Brien called out “Marry me”.
To which Wills replied with a smile: “Sorry, you’re too late.”
But O’Brien would not be deterred, and has vowed not to give up.
“I won’t give up until he’s put a ring on her finger,” she added. (ANI)
