Prince Harry splits from girlfriend of five years
January 25th, 2009 - 7:56 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Jan 25 (DPA) Britain’s Prince Harry, 24, has broken up with Chelsy Davy, 23, his girlfriend of five years, British media reported Sunday.Harry, third in line to the British throne, and Davy split up amicably, reported newspapers.
The split was brought about by Harry’s lifestyle and his time spent away from Davy during training as a helicopter pilot, reported the News of the World.
Clarence House, Harry’s official residence, had no comment on the stories, calling these a private matter.
The couple had already broke up once, in 2007, but quickly reconciled. According to media reports, Harry consulted with his father Prince Charles and brother Prince William for tips on his relationship problems.
