Prince Harry ‘demoted’ in BBC obituary stir

Melbourne, February 22 (ANI): The death of Prince Harry will no longer interrupt programmes on the BBC, a British newspaper has reported.
The third in line to the British throne along with Princess Anne, Princes Andrew and Edward, and Prince Edward’s wife, the Countess of Wessex has apparently been downgraded by the broadcaster.
The royals previously featured on a list called Category 2, which meant the news of their deaths would have followed specific guidelines, including news flashes and documentaries.
But according to details of a new BBC protocol seen by The Mail on Sunday, the category has been abolished, the Herald Sun reported.
Prince Harry is now said to be on the same death list as Bob Dylan, the Pope, Muhammad Ali, Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela and Gordon Brown.
However, the Category 1 list, including the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and Prince William, remained untouched, implying if they passed away, there will be an immediate interruption of all BBC programs. (ANI)
