Pranab Mukherjee to visit Dhaka in May

Dhaka, April 1 (IANS) India’s Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will visit this Bangladesh capital in May for the concluding celebrations of the 150th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore.
Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dipu Moni confirmed Sunday that Mukherjee will visit the country May 5, the Daily Star reported.
During the visit, Mukherjee will also have discussions on bilateral issues especially about agreements signed during Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to India in 2010 and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s Bangladesh visit in September last year, the minister said.
Dipu Moni said she will visit India after Mukherjee’s tour.
