Pranab condemns terror attack in IslamabadSeptember 21st, 2008 - 7:50 pm ICT by IANS
Kolkata, Sep 21 (IANS) External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee Sunday condemned the terror attack in Islamabad that killed 46 people and called for a united “fight against terrorism”.”It’s a very unfortunate incident and I condemn the suicide bombing (Saturday) at the Marriott Hotel,” Mukherjee told reporters at Baharampur town in West Bengal’s Murshidabad district, about 220 km from here.
He said: “India is always opposed to any form of terrorist attack in any country. We should unitedly fight against this global network of terrorism.”
Mukherjee also urged the international community to show “zero tolerance” to terrorist activities.
