Poor ticket sales for Jay-Z in Britain

London, June 6 (IANS) Tickets for rapper Jay-Z’s show at the June 27-29 Glastonbury Festival are still available in thousands. Thesun.co.uk reports that tickets for his gig at London’s O2 Wireless Festival July 3 are also not sold out. He is to co-headline the Projekt Revolution with nu-metal band Linkin Park.

A source said: “It costs thousands of pounds to put on a gig at Milton Keynes. It’s imperative to sell it out if the organisers are to return a profit on it. They’re still way off selling all the tickets.”
