Baghdad, Jan 27 (DPA) Unknown militants Tuesday set ablaze a school that was set to be a polling station in the town of Falluja, about 50 km west of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, a security source said. The school was totally destroyed, the source said, adding that security around polling stations would be tightened all over Iraq.

The burning of the polling station comes less than 24 hours after Iraqi security officials announced the completion of all security preparations in Anbar province for the Jan 31 provincial elections.
