brian-dorian1 A police officer in Illinois, Brian Dorian, has been arrested on charges of first degree murder. He was arrested on Friday on the grounds of killing one man and wounding two others. His bail amount has been put at $ 2.5 million and is being held at the Will County jail. The authorities have not disclosed in detail the evidences that led them to arrest Brian Dorian. They said that the investigation was continuing at “fever pitch”; they added that he being a police officer himself has made the crime even more horrifying. Brian Dorian is being described as a good and loving man by his neighbors.

His father said that his son is not the kind of guy to walk up and shoot anyone. His father John Dorian while asking the police to keep on searching for the real gunman, reasoned that his son had a gun but could not have handled it as he had a shoulder injury, for which he was on one year’s medical leave. Those who knew him are still in a state of doubt, they had figured out as a nice guy. “I guess I’m still wondering, Is this a mistake? Could this really be?”, said Lynwood Mayor Gene Williams.

This is not the first time that Brian Dorian has been brought under investigation, in 2008 he was charged with a car crash of 2006 that had resulted in the death of a 17 year old, Dylan Drapeau. Brian Dorian was charged with speeding in the accident in the case and he was sentenced to one year of court supervision and fined $ 500.
