Police Arrests “Kensington Strangler” Suspect Antonio Rodriguez

Jan 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Philadelphia police has arrested a man named Antonio Rodriguez, who is suspected to be Kensington Strangler, who killed three women after sexually assaulting them. Detective Justin Frank said that they have arrested the suspect on Monday after a person called them and informed them about the man for $37,000 reward. Moreover, the DNA evidence has also linked to the suspect. The law enforcement officials said that they are confident that Antonio Rodriguez is the same person who has killed three women Elaine Goldberg, 21, Casey Mahoney, 27 and Nicole Piacentini, 35, between November and December last year.
Detective Justin Frank of the Philadelphia Police Department said that the tipster saw the pictures of the person on local news channel and then called police to inform them. Justin Frank said that the suspect, Antonio Rodriguez has a criminal record and he has recently been released from the prison. The Detective said that the tipster would receive $37,000 reward, that was offered to the public for any information leading to the suspect.
The law enforcement officials said that Antonio Rodriguez has not yet been charged with any crime in the case and the police officers have not yet issued any arrest warrant as well. The state police said that the suspect’s database was a “major break” in the case. Even Justin Clarke said that they are hopeful that they will put an end to the case soon. Though Justin Clarke declined to divulge any more information, he only said that the “Kensington Strangler” suspect Antonio Rodriguez was homeless and he was wandering in the area before his arrest. The suspect has not yet been charged in this case.
