London, Jan 11 (IANS) Oscar winning director Roman Polanski has failed to get his 31-year-old child sex case dropped in the Los Angeles County.According to tmz.com, Polanski asked the Los Angeles Superior Court to disqualify all judges because he thinks they are all biased against him. But the judge Peter Espinoza was not convinced and said there are 600 judges and one of them will be qualified to handle the case.
But Polanski is in a bind. If he decides to show up for the January hearing he will be arrested on sight. Polanski had pleaded guilty to unlawful intercourse with a minor in 1977. He had to flee the country since the girl was just 13. He has not returned since.
He won an Academy award for “The Pianist” and has made such classics as “Chinatown”.
