Plane crash lands in California airport
August 27th, 2010 - 9:41 am ICT by IANSLos Angeles, Aug 27 (IANS) At least 15 people suffered minor injuries when a Jet Blue passenger aircraft crash landed at the Sacramento international airport in California Thursday, officials said.
A Jet Blue spokesman said the flight, carrying a total of 87 passengers and five crew members, reported an issue with the brakes. The plane blew two tyres while making the landing, Xinhua reported.
Airport spokeswoman Gina Swankie said all the people on board were evacuated via inflatable slides.
