Pilot hurt as plane lands atop another in Argentina
January 21st, 2010 - 12:48 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Buenos Aires, Jan 21 (IANS/EFE) A pilot was injured when a crop-dusting aircraft landed on top of another at an airport in Argentina’s Junin town.
“Literally, one plane climbed on the other when the two were conducting landing manoeuvres,” a spokesperson for the civil aviation administration said, adding that the pilot’s injuries were not serious.
Junin is 250 km northwest of the Argentine capital.
The collision on the landing strip at the Junin Aeroclub took place early Wednesday.
