Photog digs up carrot that looks like a foot!
November 1st, 2010 - 2:36 pm ICT by ANILondon, Nov 1 (ANI): Photographer Stuart Boulton has dug up an unusual looking carrot that has the shape of a foot complete with five toes in his allotment in Darlington, County Durham.
The weird vegetable was a foot-long.
“I don’t know what caused it to grow the way it has,” The Sun quoted Boulton as saying.
“Someone told me if you manured the soil, the tips go off in search of the good manure, but I don’t know exactly why.
“I’ve grown some odd-looking vegetables in the past. Last year, I grew one which resembled something you couldn’t print. I made the foot into a carrot and coriander soup and it was very tasty,” Boulton added. (ANI)
