Patrick Swayze back home after hospital stay
January 20th, 2009 - 9:25 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Jan 20 (IANS) Actor Patrick Swayze has been released from a hospital a week after he checked himself in for observation for pneumonia.A spokeswoman for the “Dirty Dancing and Ghost” star, who has pancreatic cancer, confirmed that the actor is back home after a brief hospitalisation for pneumonia, reported mirror.co.uk
Swayze, 56, had once said that his cancer treatment has been “hell” and that he does not expect to live much longer than two years.
But while in hospital he said: “I am alive and I’m planning to continue staying that way.”
