Patient dies as man chases ambulance
July 18th, 2011 - 7:04 pm ICT by IANSLondon, July 18 (IANS) A patient died after an angry van driver in Britain chased an ambulance following a minor accident and then blocked its rear door.
The Sun reported that the van driver, who flew into a rage, parked his vehicle close to the ambulance’s rear doors so paramedics and the dying patient were trapped inside.
Dale Barker chased the ambulance, sounded his horn and made obscene gestures after it clipped its wing mirror.
CCTV footage showed that after blocking the ambulance, Barker argued with the crew at Bradford Royal Infirmary.
The 42-year-old patient, suffering from heart attack, died later.
