Pandiani suggests Ronaldo ‘would need a dentist’ in Uruguay
February 23rd, 2011 - 3:05 pm ICT by ANILondon, Feb.23 (ANI): Veteran Osasuna striker Walter Pandiani has suggested Cristiano Ronaldo would have to see a dentist if the Real Madrid star visited Uruguay.
Pandiani and Ronaldo were involved in a highly publicized altercation earlier this month when the Portugal international allegedly mocked Pandiani’s salary in comparison with his own.
In an interview with a Spanish radio station, Uruguayan Pandiani suggested Ronaldo’s attitude would not be tolerated in his homeland.
“Perhaps in my country, he would have acted in another way, but in my country he would have perhaps need to ask for an appointment with a dentist in a situation such as that,” Fox Sports quoted him, as saying.
Pandiani’s latest comments come after he claimed Ronaldo “had a screw loose”, and suggested he learn a lesson in humility from Barcelona’s Lionel Messi. (ANI)
