Palin ‘’suspicious” of church fireDecember 16th, 2008 - 6:23 pm ICT by ANI
Juneau (Alaska, US), Dec.16 (ANI): Alaska Governor Sarah Palin said Monday that she is suspicious of a fire that destroyed her church over the weekend in her hometown Wasilla.
It became pretty obvious near the very beginning of this whole episode that this was suspicious because there were just too many things taking place that evening, Palin told Fox News host Greta Van Susteren on her show On the Record.
A women’’s craft group was inside the church Friday night when the fire broke out. All inside got out before the church was consumed by the blaze. The local fire department is treating the incident as a potential arson case.
Palin, fearing that her iconic status may have attracted too much negative attention, said she stopped by the church after the blaze was put out Saturday morning to apologize for any role her membership in the congregation may have played. (ANI)
