Palin says Obama should put Egypt-like pressure on Iran for freedom

Washington, Feb 12 (ANI): Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has urged the media to enquire whether the Obama administration would exert equal pressure on Iran to allow more freedom to its citizens like it did for Egypt.
“Media: ask “Will Obama Admin exert as much ‘constructive’ pressure on Iranian govt to change & allow freedom ~ as they just did for Egypt?,” Fox News quoted Palin a tweeter post of Palin.
Earlier this week, Palin had said that the Obama administration was not doing enough to resolve the crisis in Egypt, and added that the United States “should not stand” for an Egypt led by the Muslim Brotherhood.
“Is it going to be the Muslim Brotherhood? We should not stand for that, or with that, or by that. Any radical Islamists. No, that is not who we should be supporting and standing by … we need to find out who was behind all of the turmoil and the revolt and the protests so that good decisions can be made in terms of who we will stand by and support,” Palin said.
She further questioned if the media and the Obama Administration was providing correct information to the American public.
“Nobody yet has explained to the American people what they know, and surely they know more than the rest of us know, who it is who will be taking the place of Mubarak and I’m not real enthused about what it is that, that’s being done on a national level and from D.C. in regards to understanding all the situation there in Egypt,” she added.
