Pakistani lawmaker’s wife, daughter killed
January 31st, 2012 - 12:54 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Jan 31 (IANS) A Pakistani lawmaker’s wife, daughter and driver were gunned down in the port city of Karachi, a media report said Tuesday.
Gunmen opened fire at their car, killing Balochistan assembly member Sahibzada Bakhtiar’s wife and daughter who were in the city to attend a marriage, Geo News reported.
The bullet riddled bodies have been shifted to a hospital.
A police official said that the attack seemed to be the result of family vendetta.
The lawmaker told the media that he expected no justice from Sindh government in nabbing the attackers.
