Pakistani forces destroy hideout, kill militants
May 6th, 2012 - 3:00 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, May 6 (IANS) As many as eight militants were killed in Pakistan Sunday after security forces destroyed their hideouts in the country’s northwest, a media report said.
According to official sources, security forces targetted militant hideouts in Orakzai agency’s Mamozai and Khadizai areas, the Dawn reported.
Two militant hideouts were destroyed in the operation, the sources added.
Though the Lower Orakzai agency has been cleared of militants, an operation against the militants was underway in the Upper Orakzai agency till Sunday noon.
