Pakistani fighter jet crashes
August 16th, 2011 - 6:39 am ICT by IANSIslamabad, Aug 16 (IANS) A Pakistani fighter jet Monday crashed following a technical problem in the aircraft near a military training facility in the eastern part of the country.
The F-7 fighter aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed near the Kalur Kot Khakkar area of Mianwali district, the news website Daily Times reported.
There was no loss of life or property. The pilot of the aircraft ejected safely, PAF said.
The aircraft was on a routine training mission.
