Pakistan will adopt multi-pronged strategy to curb terrorism: Gilani
April 7th, 2008 - 9:58 pm ICT by adminIslamabad, Apr 7 (ANI): Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday reiterated that his government would adopt a multi-pronged strategy to contain terrorism and extremism.
Talking to visiting UK Home Secretary Jacqui Smith. Gilani said that the new democratic government would incorporate both short and long-term measures to confront terrorism.
Terrorism is a global phenomenon and the world community should focus on its root causes, the Dawn quoted him, as saying. (ANI)
