Pakistan test-fires cruise missile

Islamabad, Oct 29 (IANS) Pakistan has successfully test-fired indigenously developed multi-tube cruise missile Hatf-7 (Babur) that has a range of 700 km, a media report said.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), which handles the Pakistani military’s media activities, said the missile having stealth capabilities can carry both nuclear and conventional type of warheads.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani have congratulated the team of scientists and engineers on Friday’s success, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.
