Pakistan is our identity: Gilani

Islamabad, Aug 11 (IANS) “Whatever we are today, it is due to Pakistan. It is our identity,” Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said Thursday.
Gilani was addressing the National Assembly, Online news agency reported.
He said that it was on Aug 11, 1947 that Muhammad Ali Jinnah laid the foundation of a modern, tolerant and progressive Pakistan. “We must pledge to safeguard and protect Pakistan,” he said.
