Pakistan cancels leaves in armed forces
December 26th, 2008 - 3:58 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Dec 26 (Xinhua) The Pakistan army has cancelled leaves of the troops amid the country’s tensions with India, a news channel reported Friday.The army and the air force have been put on high alert, private Geo TV channel quoted sources as saying.
Tensions between India and Pakistan developed after India accused Pakistan-based militant groups of involvement in last month’s Mumbai terror attacks, which killed more than 170 people.
