Pak Supreme Court directs police to crackdown on hoarders

A three-member bench of the apex court headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, directed all provincial chiefs of police to initiate crackdown against the hoarders to check price hike in their respective provinces.

The Interior Secretary of Punjab assured the court that the province would initiate a crackdown against the hoarders to ensure provision of commodities to people on cheaper rates.

The court later adjourned hearing for November 12. (ANI)
