Oz woman survives 13-metre balcony plunge with minor injuries
May 27th, 2010 - 4:57 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, May 27 (ANI): A woman from North Queensland has survived a 13-metre balcony fall with minor injuries only.
According to a department of community safety spokeswoman, the 40-year-old woman suffered just a fractured pelvis and elbow from the fall, reports News.com.au.
The incident occurred at a residence on Varley Street, Yorkeys Knob on May 26, and paramedics treated the woman at the scene and transported her in a stable condition to Cairns Base Hospital.
A police spokeswoman said officers attended the scene but will not be further investigating the incident. (ANI)
