Oz woman claims she was cut off by Ford station wagon-shaped UFO
September 11th, 2010 - 2:29 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Sept 11 (ANI): A number of Australians have come forward to reveal their experiences with the paranormal.
Ever since ABC morning show presenter Leon Compton openly discussed the topic, he has been swamped by tales of UFOs, which include a woman claiming to have been cut off by aliens.
Betty from Alice Springs said her close encounter occurred in 1969, while she was driving 20km south of Aileron towards Alice Springs at 4am with her six-year-old daughter.
“We saw these two figures inside this thing. It looked like a Ford station wagon, with the windows. It came in front of us really quickly,” the Northern Territory News quoted her as saying.
Her daughter then said, “There’s nothing to be afraid of.”
“I said, ‘Why did you say that?’ She said, ‘I don’t know, it just came out of my mouth’.
“And as I was talking, the whole thing took off like a shot out of a gun … And then there was all this green and blue and red flames or lights all around it.
“I’ll never forget it,” she added.
Another UFO believer is Cameron from Alice Springs, who said he was visiting a water hole in 1983 when he saw a flying saucer land 700m away.
“It was half the size of a football field,” he revealed. (ANI)
