Oz PM Julia Gillard to attend royal wedding

Sydney, Mar 17 (ANI): Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard has confirmed she will attend the wedding of Britain’s Prince William to his fiancee Kate Middleton next month.
Gillard and her partner Tim Mathieson have accepted an invitation from Buckingham Palace to attend the April 29 wedding in London.
“The prime minister and Mr Mathieson are delighted to have been invited to the wedding which will capture the hearts of millions around the world,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Gillard’s office as saying in a statement. (ANI)
