Melbourne, Oct 29 (ANI): A man in Melbourne, Australia has revealed how his life was spared from a car crashing into his house and landing on his bed when he decided to spend a little more time on his computer.

Dimitrios Bisbelas, 31, who works in IT sales, had been in bed, but went back to his computer for about 20 minutes to finish some work and was just about to return to bed when he heard the crash.

An out-of-control car had hit a median strip nearby, became airborne and ploughed through a wooden fence before crashing through the front bedroom wall of his home.

Bisbelas said he was lucky to be alive and was glad he hadn’t been in bed at the time, cause he would have surely been dead.

“I thought it was an earthquake,” News.com.au quoted him as saying.

“Accidents happen. It was just circumstance I wasn’t in my room. I was very lucky.

“I’m very lucky because the bed was completely destroyed,” he stated.

Two men, both aged 52, were in the car when it crashed. They had some minor injuries and cuts, and were taken to the hospital where they are said to be in a stable condition. (ANI)
