Oz cop caught drink-driving in police vehicle while on duty!
March 11th, 2010 - 5:05 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Mar 11 (ANI): A cop in Australia may have to face penalty for drink-driving in a police vehicle while on duty.
The territory police officer was spotted by a woman police officer in drunken state, reports the Northern Territory News.
She apparently saw the officer in question walk in to the Tennant Creek station to pick up his gun.
However, the woman officer smelt alcohol on his breath.
When the drunken cop got in a police car, she chased him down and pulled him over.
Blood alcohol reading noted 0.052 per cent, which is seemingly a low range alcohol reading.
The crackdown on drunken cops driving police vehicles has become frequent after Commissioner John McRoberts promised to bring an end to such behavior. (ANI)
