Oz boy, 11, who went missing for 11hrs after driving off in family car found
October 26th, 2010 - 5:16 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Oct 26 (ANI): An 11-year old boy reached home safely after driving off in his family’s car, it has emerged.
The boy went missing for 11 hours, police said.
The boy left his Mt Druitt home, in the west of Sydney, between 9am and 9.30am yesterday at the wheel of his family’s white Nissan sedan, reports News.com.au.
He was seen driving erratically on the city’s outskirts, a number of motorists told police, but authorities were not able to find him until he was eventually spotted about 8.30pm last night.
The boy was safe and well, police said, and he was released without charge into the care of his family.
