Over 100 patients survive roof collapse in Siberia
January 30th, 2011 - 2:31 pm ICT by IANSNovosibirsk (Siberia), Jan 30 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Over 100 patients were swiftly evacuated from a hospital in Kemerovo, an industrial city in southwest Siberia, after a roof crumbled. No one was hurt in the incident.The incident occurred in the early hours Sunday in the therapeutics division of hospital No. 1 in the town of Belovo when the roof collapsed on an area of 600 square meters, RIA Novosti quoted the ministry as stating.
“The patients, 109 people, and the hospital’s 10-member staff who were in the division were promptly evacuated. No one was hurt in the incident,” the ministry said.
