OPEC crude rises to $41.31 per barrel
January 15th, 2009 - 7:51 pm ICT by IANSVienna, Jan 15 (DPA) The price for oil produced by the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) rose to $41.31 a barrel, the Vienna-based cartel said Thursday.One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC-produced crude Wednesday was priced $1.31 higher than Tuesday.
OPEC calculates a basket price based on 12 brands produced by its members.
