One dead as boat capsizes in Pakistan
October 17th, 2011 - 1:36 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Oct 17 (IANS) One person was killed and 31 people, including college students, went missing after a boat capsized in a canal in Pakistan’s Punjab province, a media report said Monday.
The boat capsized in Lower Baro Do canal in Sahiwal, reported Geo News.
A body has been found while rescuers are looking for the others.
Sources said the boat was carrying passengers more than its capacity.
Most of the passengers were college students.
