Old homes being renovated in Dubai
September 4th, 2012 - 1:21 am ICT by IANSDubai, Sep 3 (IANS/WAM) The Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai has launched an initiative aimed at renovating old homes owned by families that include retired, the elderly and disabled members.
The initiative –”Your home… Our home” — will be implemented in phases and is part of CDA’s efforts to provide an excellent network of social services in Dubai and enhance outreach to all individuals.
The project’s main objective is to support and help the families of these old homes who consider maintenance a financial burden by providing them with free renovations. It also aims to raise awareness about voluntary work and motivating other members of society to participate.
