Washington, Jan 13(ANI): A new poll has found that US President Barack Obama’s job approval rating has climbed to its highest point in nearly a year.
According to an Associated Press-GfK poll, 53 percent of Americans surveyed said that they approve of how Obama is doing his job.
In November, his approval rating in the same poll stood at 47 percent.
Obama’s approval was last at 53 percent in early March 2010, before his health care reform bill was passed in its final form, Politico reports.
The poll also found that Americans’ views of how the President is handling the economy has also improved, with 47 percent approving, up six points from November.
The poll surveyed 1,001 adults between January 5 and 10.
The error margin is plus or minus 4.2 percentage points. (ANI)
