Washington, Oct 28 (IANS) US President Barack Obama’s itinerary during his three-day trip to India as revealed by the White House:
Nov 5
Obama departs for India.
Nov 6
Arrives in Mumbai.
Stays at the Taj Mahal Hotel. Makes statement at hotel to commemorate the Mumbai terror attack.
Nov 7
Visits a Mumbai school, participates in Diwali celebrations.
Goes to a town hall with university students.
Nov 8
US president reaches New Delhi.
Has “private dinner” with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Nov 9
Lays wreath at Gandhi Samadhi at Rajghat; visits Humayun’s Tomb.
Meets Manmohan Singh and a a news conference
Addresses Indian parliament
State Dinner.
Leaves for Jakarta.
