Obama visiting India next year

Washington, Nov 24 (IANS) US President Barack Obama Tuesday said he was “happy” to accept Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s invitation to visit India next year, 2010.
“India today is a rising and responsible global power in Asia. Indian leadership is expanding security across the region,” Obama told reporters in his joint press conference with Manmohan Singh at the White House.
He said: “I am happy to accept Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s invitation to visit India next year.”
